Healthy eyes mean healthy sight, none of us who are born with a pair of eyes could imagine a life without them. Just like you take care of every part of your body, your eyes also need some care. If you take proper care you will have strong eye sight at old age. Under this article read about some of the healthy eye care habits which will give you long-term benefits.

 Protect Your Eyes From Sun

Just like sunscreen is important for your skin, the same way your eyes also need a barrier from the sun. Wear the right shades of glasses which will give protect your eyes against harmful UV rays. Excessive exposure to UV increases the chances of conditions like macular degeneration, cataracts, corneal damage, etc.

 Reduce Screen Timing

Since a young age, we all have been told, too much screen timing is not good for our eyes, it leads to:

  • Strain on eyes
  • Can cause blurry vision
  • Eye dryness
  • Neck, shoulder, and back aches

In order to protect your eyes from all of these, you should first try to reduce your unnecessary screen timing. Secondly, if you are in a working profession that requires too much screen time then buy screen glasses.

 Do Not Touch Your Eyes Often

You touch multiple different things in a day through your hands. When your hands come in contact with your eyes it can cause multiple bacterial or viral  eye infections. So make sure you either keep your hands clean or else avoid regular eye touching with your hands.
